Volkswagen Diesel Emissions Scandal
Thanks to the recent settlement of the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal, monies will be specifically earmarked to heavily subsidize thousands of “commercial electric vehicles” in the United States.
This settlement will provide $2.7 billion dollars, for zero-emission vehicle purchases and diesel mitigation projects, that will soon become available in all 50 states. Upon hearing of this settlement, fleet operators across the country are asking the following questions:
What types of incentives might be available for my fleet?
Are the amounts of available incentives, to fleet operators, significant?
Is it worth my time to find out if my operation could qualify for one of these incentives?
Are these incentives only for vehicles or do they also include charging infrastructure?
What types of vehicles are eligible for these incentives?
How can I learn more about the availability of these funds?
Since these monies will be made available to fleet operators on a first-come first-served basis, time is of the essence.
Speak with one of our experts to understand how you can maximize these incentives and find the right solution for your fleet needs.
